Do you sometimes wonder what constitutes a foul in a soccer match? How is an offside call determined? Why did the referee not call a foul when it was obvious and call for the players to play on? What do the referee signals mean? What is a hand ball?

Get the answers to those questions and more. The more certified referees there are, the more educated our soccer community will become and will thereby create even more enjoyable soccer games for everyone. We would love to have referees at every game and whether or not you need the extra cash, we will pay you to officiate games!

Copper Mountain Soccer is excited to extend an invitation to all parents, coaches, and players 13 years and older to certify in the new iRef online training. Mark Probert keeps your attention as he covers the laws of the game in this two hour online course. To register, please visit irefthegame.net and select the "Copper Mountain Soccer Club" button. Copper Mountain is subsidizing certification for our referees, so it will only cost $25. Once the course is completed, the referee coordinator is notified. This course will need to be taken once a year to stay current and refreshed in the laws of the game.
